Compensation - Your Way
Generally we offer a straightforward 70/30 split, even for new artists—you keep 70% of what you earn. Simple, fair, and easy to understand.
For Resident Artists, we’re open to customizing a structure that works best for you. Whether it's a flat monthly booth fee (starting at $1,000), a hybrid model (like $700/month plus 10%), or something in between, we’ll work with you to create an arrangement that feels sustainable and aligned with your goals.
Our priority is making sure you feel:
In control of your income
Free to create without pressure
Genuinely supported by your shop
We’re not here to squeeze numbers—we’re here to build a space where artists thrive, both creatively and financially.
Freedom to Create on Your Terms
We believe tattoo artists do their best work when they’re in control of their time. That’s why we don’t require you to sit in a booth all day just to be “present.” If you’re not tattooing, you shouldn’t feel obligated to be at the shop—and you definitely shouldn’t be working for free.
At our studio, you're free to manage your schedule in a way that keeps your creativity flowing. Whether you're tattooing full-time or balancing your craft with other passions, we offer two flexible workspace options to fit your lifestyle:
Resident Artist Booths – Ideal for artists with a steady flow of clients who want a dedicated space to call their own, available to them 24/7.
Flex Artist Access – For those who want more freedom. Use our scheduling app to book blocks of time that fit your week. Perfect for artists who want to work part-time, are building their clientele, or simply want more room in their lives for other creative pursuits and passions.
Our goal is to support artists in building a career that’s sustainable, fulfilling, and uniquely their own. And while you're never required to be in the shop when you're not tattooing, we do encourage community and collaboration—some of the best ideas and marketing opportunities come when artists spend time together.
Whether you're here five days a week or just one, you're part of a team that values your time, your energy, and your vision.
